Program targeted at youth with at least one incarcerated parent
Children referred from local public and charter schools
Summer Academic Camp Recreation
Each Summer over 1,000 youth travel to the 40 Acres Campus twice
weekly for swimming and soccer clinics. These athletic and recreational
opportunities supplement the academic support offered by
Swope Corridor's camp sites around the city.
Freedom School
Forty Acres hosts a local site of the Children's Defense Fund Freedom School program.
The Forty Acres site is sponsored by St. James United Methodist Church.
