Swope Corridor Renaissance/Upper Room
Over 1,000 youth each summer visit the 40 Acres Campus for recreational
opportunities and athletic clinics. These clinics complement the academic
programming recieved at Swope Corridor's partner sites
COMBAT/Jackson County Prosecutor's Office
The Children's Connection program is funded in part by the COMBAT anti-drug
tax administered by the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office.

A message from our Chairperson
On behalf of the
Forty Acres & A Mule, Inc., Board of Directors, welcome to the "new"
Forty Acres website. The website is designed to provide information about
the campus and the various programs and rental opportunities. The Forty
Acres Campus provides recreational activities for youth and families throughout
the community. Our mission is to promote positive and life enriching experiences
and to continue to provide family friendly activities and events.
Our campus is conveniently located in south Kansas City on 79th Street,
west of Blue Ridge Blvd. Forty Acres Campus is also available to rent.

Summer Academic Camp Recreation
Each Summer over 1,000 youth travel to the 40 Acres Campus twice
weekly for swimming and soccer clinics. These athletic and recreational
opportunities supplement the academic support offered by
Swope Corridor's camp sites around the city.
Camp Forty Acres
Forty Acres hosts a Summer program that combines academic enrichment,self-empowerment,
